Creative Answers was founded in 1997 by Carol Shepherd as a solutions provider for companies seeking improvement in their operations. 

• 1997:  Creative Answers begins business providing website design services as well as design services for equipment leasing company system development.
• 2000:  Carol and her business associate, Lynda Jackson, set out to find the perfect learning management system  for Lynda's growing soft skills training company.  It quickly becomes evident that the only way to get a system that had all the functionality that they require at a price that they could afford is to build it.
• 2001:  Creative Answers begins development of a solution which would deliver courses online.  The product is designed as a series of DotNetNuke modules and a course creation template which wraps around Microsoft Word.
• 2004:  With CoreCentria well under development, Creative Answers incorporates as a Canadian corporation and Lynda Jackson becomes Vice President. Throughout this time, Creative Answers customer base for websites and graphic design continues grows.
• 2005:  Creative Answers offers course design services to their customers.
• 2008:  Creative Answers partners with Engage Software to continue the development and to market CoreCentria under a new name, Engage:Campus.
